October can be a very busy real estate time on the coast as our summer winds down and people make a decision to purchase that vacation home they've been dreaming about. We are still seeing buyers in the area looking at property so we are hoping more properties going into escrow. The foreclosure market that is driving many areas just doesn't exist up here but we do have a few. The market for September was a slight increase in new listings and new escrows but a dip in total closed sales.
