The Sea Ranch

Gualala

Gualala os located on the Southern Mendocino Coast, an expanse of rugged coastline, where majestic redwoods, sunny open hillsides and dramatic ocean vistas enliven the senses.

Irish Beach

    Irish Beach is a charming coastal community which is just a few miles North of Mancehster. The community has about 250 home sites. Over the past 30 years about 60% of the sites have had custom homes built but there are still some lots available. The community has private beach access to a 6 mile long sandy beach.

Point Arena

    Point Arena was a bustling lumber and whaling port. Punta Arena, which means "sand port" in Spanish was one of the most active ports on the Mendocino Coast. 1879 records show that 2,300 tons of merchandise were shipped from the wharf. The town looks much the way it did in the early 1900's. Scenic farmland surrounds the city today, a large dairy is just to the North and cows and sheep are seen grazing as one travels along Highway One.

MONTHLY MARKET UPDATE 6/1/2010

Real estate on the coast continues to be affected by REOs ( real estate owned) and short sales with over 50% of this past months sales being either an REO or a short sale.  New escrows and closed sales stayed fairly constant but new listings were up once again.  New escrows were up in the Gualala area and down in The Sea Ranch. 

Homes Sales:Annapolis (1) $439,000, Gualala (2) $120,000 - $183,900, Point Arena (2) $250,580 -$340,000, The Sea Ranch (9) $420,000 - $1,275,000

Home Pendings:  Gualala (6) $250,000 - $1,200,000, The Sea Ranch (1) $1,025,000, Timber Cove (1) $233,444

New Listings: Annapolis (1) $399,647, Anchor Bay (5) $419,000 - $1,400,000, Gualala (9) $309,900 - $$950,000, Irish Beach (2) $575,000 - $689,500, The Sea Ranch (17) $419,000 - $1,575,000
