The Sea Ranch

Irish Beach

    Irish Beach is a charming coastal community which is just a few miles North of Mancehster. The community has about 250 home sites. Over the past 30 years about 60% of the sites have had custom homes built but there are still some lots available. The community has private beach access to a 6 mile long sandy beach.

Point Arena

    Point Arena was a bustling lumber and whaling port. Punta Arena, which means "sand port" in Spanish was one of the most active ports on the Mendocino Coast. 1879 records show that 2,300 tons of merchandise were shipped from the wharf. The town looks much the way it did in the early 1900's. Scenic farmland surrounds the city today, a large dairy is just to the North and cows and sheep are seen grazing as one travels along Highway One.

MONTHLY MARKET UPDATE 10/1/2012

We are enjoying lots of buyer activity and beautiful weather on the coast right now.  Real Estate this past month was interesting with new listings falling way off to only 8 and new escrows shot up to 14!  After being in Santa Rosa yesterday at 102 degree temperature, I was reminded why people love being on the coast. While this ideal weather holds, we can expect to see the continued flurry of buyer activity we are now experiencing.   What a combination, historic low interest rates and bottom of the market prices...time to act for sure!

Home Sales: Gualala (2) $205,000 - $253,000, Irish Beach (1) $249,900, The Sea Ranch (6) $359,295 - $779,000
