Someone described the recent real estate market in our coastal area as a "roller coaster ride". This past month it feels a lot like a roller coaster. Activity had been high in May and June and then for a few weeks (no too long after the spike in interest rates) the activity slowed down and now it seems to be picking up again a little. Overall, new escrows were down about 20% to 15.
