The Sea Ranch

Irish Beach

    Irish Beach is a charming coastal community which is just a few miles North of Mancehster. The community has about 250 home sites. Over the past 30 years about 60% of the sites have had custom homes built but there are still some lots available. The community has private beach access to a 6 mile long sandy beach.

Point Arena

    Point Arena was a bustling lumber and whaling port. Punta Arena, which means "sand port" in Spanish was one of the most active ports on the Mendocino Coast. 1879 records show that 2,300 tons of merchandise were shipped from the wharf. The town looks much the way it did in the early 1900's. Scenic farmland surrounds the city today, a large dairy is just to the North and cows and sheep are seen grazing as one travels along Highway One.

MONTHLY MARKET UPDATE 3/01/2014

While we are currently enjoying some much needed rain, the weather for the first part of this year has been almost like summer!  Real estate activity has stayed fairly constant and there were 13 new escrows in February.  While we haven't seen the appreciation in prices yet that many of the areas of the state has seen, we are seeing the stablization in pricing and sellers holding firmer to their price.

Home Sales: Gualala (1) $150,000, Irish Beach $275,000, The Sea Ranch (2) $500,000 - $820,000

Home Pendings: Gualala (3) $579,000 - $795,000, Irish Beach (1) $324,200, Iversen (2) #387,500 - $399,000, Point Arena (1) $240,000, The sea Ranch (6) $439,000 - $995,000

New Listings: Elk (2) $369,000 - $485,000, Gualala (2) $499,000 - $729,000, Point Arena (1) $499,500, The Sea ranch (4) $359,000 - $799,000
