The Sea Ranch

Gualala

Gualala os located on the Southern Mendocino Coast, an expanse of rugged coastline, where majestic redwoods, sunny open hillsides and dramatic ocean vistas enliven the senses.

Irish Beach

    Irish Beach is a charming coastal community which is just a few miles North of Mancehster. The community has about 250 home sites. Over the past 30 years about 60% of the sites have had custom homes built but there are still some lots available. The community has private beach access to a 6 mile long sandy beach.

Point Arena

    Point Arena was a bustling lumber and whaling port. Punta Arena, which means "sand port" in Spanish was one of the most active ports on the Mendocino Coast. 1879 records show that 2,300 tons of merchandise were shipped from the wharf. The town looks much the way it did in the early 1900's. Scenic farmland surrounds the city today, a large dairy is just to the North and cows and sheep are seen grazing as one travels along Highway One.

2014 Year in Review

This past year was an great one for Real Estate on the coast with 140 homes sold.  While our area tends to lag behind the large metropolitan areas by several years, we finally started to see a shortage of homes start to happen in some price ranges, therefore as some homes came on the market they sold immediately.  Prices have started to find their way back after the disaster of 2008, still not close to the historic highs of that time but on the right track.  Even lots started to move this year for a total of 47 sales. 

 2014 Homes Sales: Anchor Bay (7) $230,000 - $565,000, Elk (5) $284,000 - $820,750, Gualala (25) $109,000 - $1,100,000, Irish Beach (6) $239,000 - $370,000, Iversen (6) $290,000 - $1,150,000, Manchester (2) $269,500 - $314,900, Point Arena (3) $230,000 - $410,000, The Sea Ranch (80) $246,500 - $1,680,000, Timber Cove (4) $312,000 - $385,000
