The Sea Ranch

Gualala

Gualala os located on the Southern Mendocino Coast, an expanse of rugged coastline, where majestic redwoods, sunny open hillsides and dramatic ocean vistas enliven the senses.

Irish Beach

    Irish Beach is a charming coastal community which is just a few miles North of Mancehster. The community has about 250 home sites. Over the past 30 years about 60% of the sites have had custom homes built but there are still some lots available. The community has private beach access to a 6 mile long sandy beach.

Point Arena

    Point Arena was a bustling lumber and whaling port. Punta Arena, which means "sand port" in Spanish was one of the most active ports on the Mendocino Coast. 1879 records show that 2,300 tons of merchandise were shipped from the wharf. The town looks much the way it did in the early 1900's. Scenic farmland surrounds the city today, a large dairy is just to the North and cows and sheep are seen grazing as one travels along Highway One.

MONTHLY MARKET UPDATE 3/01/2015

The coast has been beautiful with only a few periods of much needed rain, the plants all think it is Spring for sure and even the whales have been making grand showings!  Real estate activity has been good since the first of the year and the number of new listings hitting the market have been low with many going into escrow shortly after listing.  In February, there were 14 new listings, 9 homes went into escrow and there were 11 closed sales.

Home Sales: Gualala (1) $775,000, Irish Beach (1) 375,000, The Sea Ranch (8) $435,000 - $1,100,000, Timber cove (1) $295,000

Home Pendings: Gualala (1) $580,000, Elk (1) $550,000, Point Arena (3) $729,000 - $1,1,00,000, The Sea Ranch (4) $717,000 - $1,100,000

New Listings: Gualala (5) $325,000 - $950,000, Irish Beach (2) $219,900 - $395,000, The Sea Ranch (7) $659,000 - $1,475,000
