Happy New Year! This has been a great year for real estate on the coast. Unlike many of the urban areas where property values have soared and inventory has disappeared, the second home market on the coast has been slow to recover. While The Sea Ranch started their recovery 2 years ago, the rest of the area just now is seeing the ending of many foreclosures and some rising prices. Typical for this time of year the activity was slow with only 7 new listings, 10 homes going into escrow and 13 closed sales. Still a great time to buy on the coast!!
